New App Called Anchor for Social Networking and Discussion Plus March Madness

Testing out Anchor which allows for back and forth conversation almost like voice messages. Interesting concept. In a recent #blogchat on Sunday evening, we discussed how Anchor could be used in our blogs.

Using Anchor to start a conversation regarding #MarchMadness and linking to Tournament Challenge post from the weekend to sign up for the group.  Here my Anchor and chime in with your own.

  1. I've heard of Anchor but need to do more research. Guess that's what I get for missing last week's #Blogchat! :)

    1. Patrick, thank you for the comment and visiting my site!

Anchor is cool! I had actually talked with someone else about it two or three #blogchat sessions ago. I just was reminded about it again this past Sunday and actually went to put it on my phone. Seems to be a lot of people using it as on my simple initial try at Anchor, I had a number of replies and people following me. Someone told me it has only been out for a few months.

I do like the fact that the Waves, as Anchor calls them, can be placed on web sites too. Hopefully prompting others to try out Anchor and then also to share a short two minute podcast of sorts on the site too.

Have you tried out Blab.im yet? I like it too. More for discussions and chatting about topics, but it also allows to be placed on a web site too. Heard about Blab in our #blogchat sessions earlier too.

Fun learning about new apps from our #blogchat sessions. Have a great Saturday and thanks again for stopping by and commenting.

    3. Gresham, they did just update the iOS app today. I will send them a tweet to see when they plan to release a Android app. It is a cool app, so hopefully you will have it soon!
