Why Thanksgiving Is My Favorite Holiday (And Yours Might Be Too!)

Happy Thanksgiving 2025!

The leaves are falling and covering the ground. Neighbors are spending their days cleaning up their yards, while I take a different approach. I wait until most of the leaves have fallen, then I call someone to pick them up. I used to spend hours raking, but in recent years, it’s much easier to hire help. They finish in about 30 minutes, far better than an entire weekend of yard work. It’s simpler, and I’m supporting a local business.

All that to say: Thanksgiving is tomorrow, and it’s my favorite holiday. Families have traditions they look forward to every year, whether it’s turkey, ham, or a special pie. These traditions make the season something we anticipate and cherish. Personally, I love the leftovers: all the fixings, hearty sandwiches made from turkey, chips on the side, and a bit of dressing from the main feast. I enjoy it all!

From my family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving! Wishing you a safe and plentiful holiday.

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving Picture

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. It is a time to be with family and friends. It is a time to give thanks and remember those we love. It is also a time of fantastic foods. Turkey, dressing, green beans, and pies. Oh then there are the liquid drinks that go along with the day. It is a good day for wine, maybe a glass or two of scotch. It is a wonderful day of relaxation, watching football, and enjoying family and friends.

May each and every one of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Be sure to reach out to those you love or those that do not have a lot of family to give them thanks too.

Happy Thanksgiving!
