You can still vote early. We decided to go out and vote early on Wednesday. Early voting started in Topeka on Monday, October 19. I saw someone I know while we were there, and they told me they had record voting on Monday and Tuesday and were expecting high numbers again on Wednesday. I think my number was somewhere around 1,400, but I don't recall for sure. It certainly seemed like the trend was going upward.

Whether you vote early or wait until Election Day on Tuesday, November 3, make sure to cast your vote, no matter where you are located.

This is an important election. We had President Trump in Kansas a few weeks ago campaigning for Kansas lawmakers, and Vice President Vance is scheduled to be in Topeka on Monday. Republicans seem concerned, which I think is a good thing. It is the first time I can remember this much focus on Kansas from national political leaders and the media. Kansas is usually viewed as an automatic vote for Republicans.

Regardless of where you are located in the United States or which candidates you support, make sure you get out and vote. Your vote matters.
